What is the Propagule Space Ecology Institute?
A propagule is a stage in an organism's life that allows it to disperse to new habitats. A propagule can be:
- a dandelion seed
- a mushroom spore
- a wandering wolf
- a biosphere carrying Earth life through the cosmos
Ecological technology uses ecology -- the science of how organisms interact with each other and with their environment -- to meet human needs.
The goal of the Propagule Space Ecology Institute is to develop the self-sustaining ecosystems -- consisting of both organisms and machines -- that will eventually spread life throughout the solar system.
We are a nonprofit research institute (working on 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status) conducting and supporting research and development and disseminating it to industry and the public.
